Capricciosa Kyotoporta in Kyoto

After having Japanese food for a few days we were looking for a change. Found this on one corner of Kyoto station. And what a find, loved the Pizzas made with fresh dough. As I write I can still remember the feel and texture of the Pizzas we ordered. Great Italian pizzas place Bon Appetit #lostbandar

It was my first time to stop by at Kyoto Station, but it was relaxing and very delicious.

When I come back to Kyoto, I sometimes stop by ☀️🍻🍻 Pasta is great for wine 😆🎵🎵 Today I had a Pescatore! Employees also had a great smile!

I wanted to eat salads and pizza, so I came to the store by train. Waiting for about 5 minutes to enter. I order a salmon pizza and a drink bar. I had salad and appetizers (not very kind) and eaten a drink and pizza reached, but ... big! I am surprised that the size is too big.Although COSPA is nice, there are too many people so I wish to eat calmly even if it is a little expensive ~

I forgot the photo. Pizza is a thin dough but big. The pasta and pizza are delicious and you can be satisfied with the Monte Romano course (approx. 2000 yen) with appetizers. A wine bottle that is reasonable and convenient for parties.

Left before we completed our order, my friends and I wanted to get pizzas. From the size of the pizza displayed in the window, we wanted to share two pizzas between the three of us. The waiter was essentially was forcing us to order three pizzas. Not sure if this is a universal rule in Japan, but I think it’s hopeless service.

Pasta lunch. Approximately 1,500 yen with an appetizer is okay. Taste is okay, okay. I definitely want to go! It is not like..

Italian restaurant under the station, cozy ambient, thay have pasta and pizza menu with a limited choice of antipasto, big size for the pizza, with the same price you can choose pasta, is easy access good place for a quick bit

It's rubbish. Don't go.They cheated on my bill. Charged a lot more than what was on menu and food was total garbage.

Went there with friends and everybody was disappointed. That crab was anything but blue.

Unpleasant and long service. Dirty plates remain on the table whearas desserts are served. Pizzas not enough cooked. Disapppointed....

Since I was passing, I did not have enough time so I felt like getting in, so I entered.The dishes came out early, so the taste was also good.Next time I want to go slowly.

Absolutely awful. Steak had freezer burns. Noodles we're undercooked (who screws up noodles?). Dessert was terrible. Stay away.

Pasta and pizza shop.The salad bar was free at lunchtime.A drink bar was added for an additional 300 yen.The wine was not replenished because it was a busy time. It was a little wet.There are a wide variety of pasta and pizza, I ordered a pasta carbonara, and the cheese-rich system was easy to dry and was difficult to eat.There were about 5 types of salad. A different kind of salad came out when it disappeared.About 4 kinds of dressing, coleslaw, Japanese style, blood orange, etc. I liked blood orange dressing.

The only good is the pizza, everything else is deceptive, food is very small ( it looks like toy plate) and expensive. So bad.

I like Bolognese in this shop. There were several shops in Bolognese where you can eat Tagliatelle in Kyoto (as far as you can see from the search). Ordered 3 sets of dishes, the appetizer platter and lettuce salad are refreshing, thin crust pizza and pasta should be eaten while hot, otherwise the pasta will become too thick!

Amazing lunch deal. Pasta of the day with a salad bar for ¥990 is a steal. I went to refill on their amazing flavored waters when one of the servers gave me a friendly, but nervous smile and pointed to the menu where it said refills for ¥330. That seemed a bit steep for juices and flavored water, but it was damn good flavored water so I went with it. On my 3rd refill I noticed there was wine next to the juices. I got surprisingly drunk within their imposed 70 minute limit and now I'm writing this from police custody. 10/10 would lunch here again.

We went there with our kids and wanted two pizzas for sharing. Unfortunately that was not possible and we were asked to order four dishes because of their one order per person policy. The service wasn’t flexible at all so we left without eating anything.

Lunch deal. But i didnt order pasta/pizza of the day so i paid for normal price. Salad bar was nothing, not much to eat and not much salad dressing. Spaghetti carbonara was tasteless to me, it was too watery like milk. The mushroom and sausage pizza was cheating ! They gave a very tiny piece of sausage ,same size as 1yen coin! and they didnt give much. Just a few pieces. Only good thing is the friendly staff. Overall, the meal wasnt worth its value.

so expensive, they won’t let you split a pizza, everything tasted terrible. the free appetizer bar is nothing but a gimmick to make you feel like you’re getting a deal of some kind. you’re better off going to a 7-11. or an olive garden. i should have known better than to get italian food in a japanese train station.

Food was average but drinks were too expensive and hidden on the menu, which said free refills but secretly excluded coke.

There are few appetizers other than vegetables.On this day, I ordered beer for today's pasta lunch 980 yen. Reasonable price.Of course, card payment is all right.The service was a dandy store manager and a cool male store clerk.This content, price is very thankful in this place.Recommended
